IS 6621:2023 covers the requirements for stumps and bails used in cricket. In cricket match, the stumps and bails together form the wicket situated at the end of the pitch. Stumps are formed by three vertical upright pieces of wood placed at both ends of the pitch and bails are the two smaller circular wooden pieces place on top of the stumps to form a wicket.
